This is a real departure for me- I was fiddling with some paint layers, using colors i had left over after working on something else, and the next day when I looked at the canvas I saw a cat silhouette sitting there, waiting to be filled in. And there was another one beside it- and then I had this cool new palette knife with prongs I was looking for an excuse to use- and there you are.
